The purpose of the Office of Institutional Advancement is to advance public understanding and philanthropic support of CSM’s educational mission.

The primary goal of the development effort is to produce flexible, unrestricted, and designated support that will strengthen the quality of the learning environment at Mines by meeting short- and long-term objectives.

CSM has a long and illustrious tradition of excellence and is widely recognized as a leader in engineering and applied science education and research.

This success can be largely attributed to the generous support provided by alumni, parents, friends, corporations, and foundations.
